PROJECT SPOTLIGHT

The Ontario Clean Water Agency | Preston, On

The Ontario Clean Water Agency required a new laboratory space for a water treatment facility in Preston, Ontario. The project called for a practical, hard-working lab environment that could support routine testing, sample handling, and the operational needs of a municipal water facility.

In water and wastewater environments, laboratory spaces must be planned with durability and day-to-day function in mind. Work surfaces, fixtures, storage, and ventilation equipment all need to perform reliably in a setting where accuracy, safety, and efficiency matter.

For Canadian Scientific, the Preston laboratory was another opportunity to support OCWA with a complete lab solution built for long-term use. As part of our continued work with the agency, this project added to a series of OCWA laboratories completed across Ontario.

Canadian Scientific delivered the design, supply, and installation of the Preston water treatment plant laboratory.

The finished space was outfitted with Air Master fume hoods, epoxy powder coated steel casework, phenolic countertops, and WaterSaver fixtures. These products were selected to create a durable and functional laboratory environment suited to the demands of water treatment testing and daily technical work.

The Air Master fume hoods provide dedicated ventilation for laboratory procedures, while the epoxy powder coated steel casework offers dependable storage and workspace support. The Fundermax phenolic countertops are used for their chemical restistance, cleanability, and suitability for active lab environments. WaterSaver fixtures complete the installation with reliable, laboratory-grade faucets.
